This book was very interesting since there is not very much literature about women. The book went over the famous Goddesses from all of the world. It went through more popular ones like Athena and Pele to less known goddesses like Hsi Wang Mu from China and Yemana of Cuba. Each page was absolutely gorgeous showing a beautiful illustration of each goddess along with some images that went along with what they were known for. The book provided a lot of information about each goddess. There begginings of being a goddess and how they came to be popular was gone over. What the Goddess stood for was explained and how people worshiped them was explained. The amount of goddesses that were gone over was awesome since it really gave an insight on how many there are and how creation myths and such change from culture to culture. I would definitely have this book in my class because I would want my students to learn about how different cultures can be because I am very fascinated about it and I would want to pass that on.
