All the World

All the World does not have too much of a narrative except for teaching the people who read this book that we are all connected and apart of the world. The book in the simplest of ways teaches us that everything has a part in the world and makes it up as a whole. The book is poetic and I feel like it would be best read to a class so they could get the full poetic effect of the book. As the story progresses there are just simple observations of the pictures we see with very brief details. Each page begins with a simple set of words which eventually turns in to more complex sentences.

As much as I liked the point of the book I had a hard time really liking it for some reason. I really liked the point of the book being that we all make up the world, and we are all an important piece. My only problem is that I could just not get into the book. I felt kind of disengaged and not until I understood the point of the book did I actually enjoy it. I would be kind of scared to read this book to a class though because they may not understand it and I would not want them to be bored while it was being read. The illustrations were very nice and clean which was nice, but I think the problem of the book was the flow. I was not impressed with how it flowed because it just felt like really awkward transition.
