Knuffle Bunny has to be on of the most adorably, simple picture books I have ever seen. In just a quick story of a little girl going to the laundromat with her father I was laughing so much and couldn't stop smiling. I love the illustrations because Trixie is just so expressive and it just made me laugh whenever I saw her get sad or mad or happy a lot.The illustrations were brilliant, for example, on the way to the laundromat the first time the background people were calm and looking at anything but when the parents were running back everyone payed attention to them and were alert. All of the little details were fantastic.  The real life pictures in the background I think make the book very intriguing especially because it can relate to our own lives so much easier. I could totally imagine seeing this in the street on my way to the park or something. The author uses a great use of verbs that can help beginning readers with more complex sounds. Its wonderful for kids trying to read.

I could not stop laughing when the baby starting babbling. I had never expected it and I wanted to read it aloud to someone so badly because I thought it would be absolutely hilarious. I think this would be a great book to read to students when they need a pick up because its nice and short but super funny. After I finished the book I couldn't stop smiling cause it put me in such a good mood and reminded me of when I was kid and my "dolly" that I took everywhere. This is a wonderful book for kids to read since it is so easily relatable and teaches them the lesson of watching over their most prized possessions.
